Eyes Unveiled - Best of Zines - 2024 NSSC
With this project, I was testing the waters and tried something new. I really wanted to have a more grunge aesthetic for the visuals of the zine. I was striving to make each page different from the last so the viewer would remain interested in the facts about our eyes.
I wanted to transition from facts about the physicality of the eye, with the anatomy, placement, and peripherals, to the realm of perception influenced by illness and imagination, exploring how individuals with schizophrenia may see people and shadows, and how our minds conjure visions during daydreaming and sleep.
